Today is Samuel Hahnemann’s 252nd anniversary and >world homeopathy awareness week begins with this year’s focus on women’s health.

More than 30 million people in Europe alone use homeopathic remedies and women are up to four times more likely to use them than men. Soccer star David Beckham, Sir Paul McCartney, Jude Law, Catherine Zeta Jones, Jennifer Anniston and Bill Clinton have all used Hahnemann’s homeopathy.

The World Health Organisation recognises it as one of the top complementary medicines worldwide.

Happy birthday, Mr. Hahnemann!

TV3’s brand new health show kicks off tonight at 8pm and features nutritionist Patrick Holford, author of the best-selling new health book: Food is better medicine than drugs.
The show goes on air every Wednesday for 4 weeks and is sponsored by Linwoods, suppliers of organic milled flaxseed and goji berries to the health trade.
