Amber Beads

Amber is a natural resin which oozed out of a tree and eventually fossilised between recent times and a few hundred million years ago. The Baltic region is home to the largest known deposit of amber, where it was produced by extinct coniferous trees. Amber is not a stone, therefore it is light and warm to touch.

How does amber work?

Wearing amber as a bracelet or necklace close to the skin is a traditional European remedy. The warmth of the skin triggers the fossilised resin to release its natural oils. A natural analgesic, amber will help children and adults. Used for centuries in Europe, amber has natural anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties.

Natural amber is high in succinic acid, it can contain as much as 8% by weight. Succinic acid is used in the Krebs cycle (citric acid cycle), which refers to a complex series of chemical reactions in all cells that utilize oxygen as part or their respiration process. The Krebs cycle is a vital part of the energy production process in all living beings.

Amber releases its therapeutic properties safely and naturally.
